About Abide Hawaii

Our Story

Out founder, Jenny Wang, started Abide Hawaii from her home office, launching a company that now serves Hawai'i exclusively from its Honolulu base. Abide began in 2020 during a severe toilet paper shortage, which hit Hawai'i especially hard. Jenny committed to supplying the state consistently, pivoting to bamboo fiber, a sustainable option that uses fewer chemicals and is free of PFAS. Abide became Hawai'i's first and only local brand offering bamboo bath tissue, napkins, and paper towels, a unique alternative that also met critical local needs.

About Abide Hawaii

Focused on Eco-Friendly Products

In 2021, Abide expanded its eco-friendly product line to include plant-based plastic cutlery, straws, cups, and compostable tableware. These items, in full compliance with Hawai'i's petroleum plastic and styrofoam bans, are widely available at local retailers. By 2023, Abide launched a robust line of disposable food service products, gaining traction in the market and becoming the only Hawai'i brand offering a comprehensive range of items for the food service industry.
